The place was tidy, I appreciated its staff and service. The bonus was comfortable room decor and fantastic bar. The hotel was in a residential area. Also, it was 1 mile from auckland war memorial museum. There also was paid parking and brilliant pool.
Downside was the air conditioner which was a bit noisy.

The location of the hotel was marvelous, the staff were eager to help, we loved an excellent experience. Extra big and freshly renovated room with marble bathroom. Lovely coffee, fresh fruit, cereal, muffins and scrambled eggs in the restaurant. Stately venue, 20 minutes' walk from the downtown. The beach nearby was beautiful and the view was unforgettable.

Large bathroom with a Jacuzzi ; respectful stuff. Room was themed, budget. It had quiet bed, great value for money. Location was unbelievable, 16 miles to Auckland airport, perfectly reachable. Lovely interior, affordable restaurant. We had a delightful time staying at this hotel.

Historic location; glorious view from the room; consistently courteous staff. Beds were very comfy and the whole room was inviting and non-smoking. The breakfast was bountiful, had lots of options. The service was amazing, just like I expected.

Stayed for 2 days and didn't want to leave, I would stay here again. Picture perfect place, fairly clean, compact rooms and BEAUTIFUL staff. Functional style hotel with modern furniture in the rooms.

Staff were well-trained; breakfast was tasty, and location was brilliant. The superior twin room was just fine, I felt like at home. Having different soft drinks in the lounge bar was a very nice touch. I could park the car onsite.
